Celebrating over 40 years of practice, our clinic offers equine and small animal services to the Central Indiana region. Janssen Veterinary Clinic is a privately-owned practice centrally located 20 miles north of Indianapolis in the fast-growing community of Hamilton County, Indiana.
JVC is a multi-doctor, team-oriented hospital with a focus on progressive veterinary medicine, quality patient care, and excellent client relations. Members of the team are Fear Free Certified. Facilities are progressive and well maintained. Our equipment includes in-house digital radiology, digital ultrasound, digital endoscopy, shockwave, and an in-house laboratory. In addition to wellness and surgery, the clinic also offers regenerative medicine (IRAP, PRP) and alternative therapies such as acupuncture and chiropractic. Reproductive needs are served through our Theriogenologist, who is on staff working with area equine, canine and feline breeders.
We are looking for an assistant who succeeds at patient care. This individual will excel at client education. Good animal and people skills are a must!
JVC offers a competitive wage and benefits package including health, dental and vision insurance, a matching retirement plan, continuing education allowance, personal time off, paid holidays, clinic apparel, and an employee discount. We see appointments from 8:00am to 5:00pm, but work hours are generally from 7:30am to 5:15-5:30pm. Staff members have one weekday off each week. After hours coverage is referred to local emergency hospitals.
