A division of Janssen Veterinary Clinic, based in Sheridan, Indiana, JVC Genetics was started to encompass the reproductive and specialty work of Dr. Tad Thompson. Dr. Thompson is a graduate of Purdue University who has had a unique opportunity to work and train beside some of the best ovine and reproductive specialties in Australia and England. Supported by the team at Janssen Veterinary Clinic, Dr. Thompson began offering services in Laparoscopic Artificial Insemination(LAI), Embryo Transfer(ET), and Semen Freezing.

A lifelong sheep producer, Dr. Thompson understands the needs and challenges sheep breeders face today. JVC Genetics strives to provide today’s producers with the tools they need to preserve and advance their flock’s genetics for the future.
